Back Universal

The Back Universal staking plan is based on a sequence of units that are wagered. This sequence of units and the rules to go through it are defined by the user. The following setup options are available:

  • Sequence length and units.
  • Movement in the sequence in case the race profit/loss is positive.
  • Movement in the sequence in case the race profit/loss is negative.

The user can select from the following list of movements in the sequence:

  • go up one step.
  • go up two steps.
  • go up three steps.
  • go down one step.
  • go down two steps.
  • go down three steps.
  • go back to first step.
  • do nothing.

If the next calculated step is beyond the first or the last step the sequence restarts.

With these options the user is able to define a very large number of sequences.

The value of the unit is calculated as percent of the bank and updated each time the sequence is at the first step.

In order to limit the losses in case of long losing runs, a maximum value for the stake can be set.

Settings

The following parameters can be configured in this staking plan:

Back Universal staking plan settings
Back Universal staking plan settings
  • 1 unit = X% of Y bank: the value of the unit expressed as percent of the bank.
    • X: the percent value.
    • Y: the type of bank to which the percent value is applied:
      • initial: the percent value is applied to initial bank.
      • current: the percent value is applied to current bank.
      • highest: the percent value is applied to highest bank.
  • Sequence length: the length of the sequence.
  • The units that form the sequence.
  • If win: the movement in the sequence performed when the race profit/loss is positive.
  • If lose: the movement in the sequence performed when the race profit/loss is negative.
  • Stake must not exceed X% of current bank: the maximum value allowed for the total stake in a race, expressed as percent of current bank.
  • Use dutching to calculate stake when multiple selections qualify: this option applies dutching algorithm to split the total stake among multiple selections in a race. If the option is not used the total stake is placed for each qualified selection.
